Our Mission
We believe in real change, and we know it starts with the youngest generation.
2026 - Five years into a profoundly difficult reality, the landscape for Myanmar's most vulnerable families has grown increasingly harsh. In the urban slums of Yangon, severe economic strain, vanishing livelihoods, and the absence of public social safety nets have left families struggling simply to survive. Day after day, thousands of children and youth are pushed onto the streets to earn whatever meager income they can.
Many are sent out to scavenge through unstable, hazardous landfills—facing daily risks of injury, infection, toxic materials, and exploitation, just to help put food on the table. Without access to education or steady support, these children are trapped in a relentless cycle of hardship, with little hope for a future of dignity.
We are here to change that narrative. Our mission is simple and unwavering: Education instead of rubbish collection.
Through comprehensive, daily care—providing formal and non-formal education, essential healthcare, nutritious meals, and direct family support—we step in where safety nets have frayed. We turn overwhelming challenges into real opportunities because every single child counts, and every young person deserves a secure, fair, and hopeful livelihood.
Our Vision
A society where no child is left behind on the streets, and where every young person in Myanmar is empowered with the health, education, and resilience to shape their own future in dignity.
We envision a future where systemic hardship no longer dictates a child's potential, where communities are deeply supported from within, and where grassroots education paves the way for lasting, generational hope.
