OUR MISSION

Every child deserves a chance.

SONNE Social Organization works with vulnerable children, young people and families in some of Yangon’s most disadvantaged communities.

We provide free education, healthcare, nutritious food and social support, while helping young people develop practical skills and pathways towards greater independence.

Our work begins in the community. Through our teachers, social workers and regular home visits, we listen to families, understand the challenges they face and provide support where it is needed most.

We started with one small classroom. Today, our programmes reach more than 300 children and young people — and we continue to grow step by step.

We work beyond politics and religion, with one simple principle:

Every child in need is welcome.

We cannot change everything. But we can change something.
